We have 8 local chapters all over Norway, and more than 200 activists contributing every year. Spire wishes to inspire people to fight for a more just and sustainable world.
As of now we have local chapters in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Tromsø, Ås, and Bø. If you want to establish a new local chapter where you live, we are more than happy to help you! OSLO
Spire Oslo works towards sustainability on a local level through several different events throughout the year! We are currently especially involved in university politics, urban gardening at Losæter, and planning school strikes. We also have internal workshops on subjects that interest our active members. The local chapter is open to work with themes and subjects our active members find important, relevant, and interesting.

BERGEN
Do you live nearby and want to become an active member of Spire Bergen? We always seek new members.
Spire Bergen aims to encourage Bergen municipality towards a more sustainable direction, through political influence. The local chapter is currently in charge of Byttebua – a permanent barter market for students in Bergen. We also have a community garden at Møllenpris, where we grow vegetables. We arrange debates, film screenings, panel debates, and lectures about subjects we care about. Additionally, we also join and organize demonstrations, arrange clothing swaps, and do beach cleanups.
We would love to have devoted and enthusiastic people with us, and we are interested in working with themes and subjects you find interesting as well! Our meetings are on Tuesdays at 6 pm. Hope to see you!

TRONDHEIM
Spire Trondheim is an organization run by young adults in the city to educate the public about creating a sustainable and equitable society. We aim to be visible in Adressa, Under Dusken, NTNU, and other institutions in Trondheim. Local politicians will be challenged by Spire. By engaging in Trondheim, you can help shape Spire's national politics and campaigns. In Trondheim, we aim to spread knowledge by arranging debates, workshops, and seminars that anyone can access and take part in.

STAVANGER
Do you live near Stavanger, and want to join our work to develop a more sustainable and just future for Stavanger and nearby areas? We want your help!
Spire Stavanger is also in charge of an open swap solution (barter market) at UiS called “Glødetråden”, in collaboration with the “Lyspæren” building. Its purpose is to make reuse and sharing/swapping of equipment more accessible for students and staff at the University of Stavanger. We have weekly meetings on Wednedays at 18 (6 pm) at Glødetråden, in Lyspæren, UiS. We seek collaboration and diversity. Everyone is welcome!

KRISTIANSAND

Spire Kristiansand was established in 2014 and works for a just and sustainable world.

TROMSØ
Do you live in Tromsø? Would you like to get involved in Spire? We always welcome new members!
Spire Tromsø was established in 2014. As an activist in the local chapter, you will get the opportunity to help develop the local chapter, join and plan interesting events, and meet new and like-minded people! We arrange clothing swaps and repairing events, an environmental weekend at Gåsvær, vegetarian dinners, and visits at Remiks (a local waste sorting company). Previously we have had stands at the vegetarian festival Vegfest.

ÅS
Spire Ås was established in 2007. Our local chapter works with both global and local cases, depending on what our active members find important, relevant, and fun to work with. We are an active group that hosts debates, seminars, workshops etc. In addition, we have social events, cozy meetings, and travel to Oslo to participate in Spire’s cabin trip and other events. Spire Ås is also in charge of the FoodSharing initiative here in Ås, which aims to reduce food waste in the local area. We want you to join and help us fight to find solutions and better politics to solve the big global issues!

BØ
Spire Bø was established in 2016 and has since then collaborated with several local groups and organizations in/near Bø. We seek to create enthusiasm around thinking globally and buying locally; you do not have to live in the big cities to be an activist. Additionally, we also aim to create a cozy community that is fun to be a part of. Our most common events are Running Dinner, movie screenings, and workshops.
